What is complex and specialist care?

Complex and specialist care at home refers to support for people whose health needs go beyond what standard domiciliary care can safely manage.

This may include people living with a brain injury, people approaching the end of life, people with multiple or progressive conditions, or people who require a combination of clinical procedures and personal care support as part of a single package.

Registered with the CQC for Treatment of Disease, Disorder or Injury.

CareLink Direct is registered with the CQC for Treatment of Disease, Disorder or Injury. This means we are authorised and clinically equipped to deliver care that most home care agencies cannot. Our nurses are on the ground, directly involved in care, and supported by a team of trained carers who receive specific preparation for each person they support.

Arranging complex care

If your loved one has complex health needs and you are not sure what kind of support is available at home, please contact us. We will listen to your situation, explain what we can offer, and be honest if something falls outside our scope.

Arranging specialist clinical care at home

We aim to respond quickly and, because we have nurses and trained carers ready, we can often begin care without the long delays that families sometimes experience elsewhere.

Registered for TDDI

“Registered to provide Treatment of Disease, Disorder or Injury (TDDI)”, meaning we are approved to deliver complex clinical care at home for people living with serious illness, disability, or injury.

Getting in touch doesn’t commit you to anything. It’s just a conversation.

Our clinical team will listen to your situation, explain what we can offer, and be honest about whether we are the right fit.
